Here at C&A Farm we provide training services that include both driving and riding.

Looking to enter the wonderful world of driving with your equine partner! Look no further.....we can train your horse to be forward, responsive and safe while driving. Our extensive training program takes your horse from start to finish. Making your driving experience a pleasure. Learn how to properly communicate with your horse and have an enjoyable driving partner. All of our riding and driving horses also go through the "Good Citizen" program.

Just need a more responsive and polite horse, we do that too! Our "Good Citizen" program is for you. We teach the horse several things including self loading and respecting your space. You are given lessons at the end of the training program to continue the relationship with your horse. Included

Pricing below effective January 1, 2010

Full training is $30.00 per day includes full board, turn out and minimum 4 hours of training per week - space permitting. A time frame of 2 - 3 months would be expected to get a horse well trained for driving or riding. The Good Citizen program is around 4 weeks. We can also provide a fixed quote so you can budget easier. Truck in is also available at $55 per session, a minimum of 2 sessions per week recommended. Sessions are 45- 90 minutes on average.

 

All training times are by appointment only. Horses coming to our farm must be inoculated for EW/WE, Tetnus, Rhino, Flu, WNV and have a negative coggins within the last 6 months.
